Talent Search
We actively seek out and identify raw, untrained talent across Rachuonyo South and Homa Bay County. Through community outreach, school visits and open talent sessions, we find individuals whose natural abilities have gone unnoticed or underdeveloped.
This is the foundation of everything we do — because you cannot refine what you have not found. Our talent search approach is one of the most distinctive features of Ramrod Ujuzi Centre.

Many young people in Homa Bay know they have ability but are unsure which direction to take. Our career guidance programme provides structured sessions to help participants map their talents to realistic, rewarding career pathways.
Sessions are led by industry professionals and cover career exploration, goal setting and creating an actionable roadmap from where you are to where you want to be.

Finding and landing decent, dignified work is a skill in itself — and one we teach explicitly. Our Jobs Clinic programme covers CV writing, interview preparation, professional presentation and navigating the formal job market in Kenya.
Participants also benefit from life coaching sessions delivered by industry icons who have navigated the job market themselves and can share real, practical insights.

Not everyone wants a job — some want to create one. Our entrepreneurship programme equips participants with the tools, mindset and practical skills to start, launch and grow their own businesses in Homa Bay County and beyond.
Sessions cover business planning, startup strategy, financial management, marketing and the specific challenges facing small businesses in Rachuonyo South. Many of our graduates have gone on to run successful local enterprises.
